I saw this dessert on Pinterest here and thought it was too good to be true (not really, I just thought it looked easy and yummy!).
Can you guess the three ingredients? Hint 1: one is in the title; Hint 2: see next picture.
Side note: Because I take pictures of ingredients and recipes now for this blog, I found out I enjoy stacking the ingredients into towers before combining them into the finished product. Maybe I need to get myself some more preschool-level toys...
Ok, back to delicioso dessert-o. Ingredients: large box of instant vanilla pudding mix, can of crushed pineapple, and a tub of Cool Whip. Directions (pretty much as easy as it gets): get a bowl, dump all the ingredients in (in whatever order you want!), stir, and chill in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
This is a great dessert if you don't have time to to prepare something time-consuming that may or may not turn out how you want it anyway. Or it is just great for summer because it is cold and refreshing! And you could keep all the ingredients on hand fairly easily so you could whip it up at a moment's notice! (chilling time not included, sorry).
What's not to love? Fruity, creamy, and (somewhat) low calorie! That's right folks, only 182 calories per serving (1/8th of the total amount; 115 grams)!

Drain the pineapple?
ReplyDeleteWhere is the recipe
DeleteI would say yes!!! It would make it runny!
DeleteI don't drain the pineapple because the recipe I saw said "no"
DeleteAdd a can of cherry pie filling, it’s even better!
ReplyDeleteAdding diced apples to it makes it a caramel apple salad.
